Manchester United's interim manager, Michael Carrick, has revealed that no decision has been made regarding Marcus Rashford's future at the club. The 28-year-old forward is currently on loan at Barcelona, with an option for the Spanish club to buy him for £26m.
However, with reports suggesting Barcelona are hesitant to exercise this option, Carrick has left the door open for Rashford to potentially return to Old Trafford. Rashford has had a mixed season at Barcelona, scoring 12 goals and providing 13 assists in 43 appearances, but has come under scrutiny for a recent patchy spell.
Despite this, United are reportedly unwilling to renegotiate the fee with Barcelona, and are confident they could receive a higher offer from another club. Carrick has also hinted that the club will look to strengthen their left-wing options in the summer transfer window, with RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande and Everton's Iliman Ndiaye reportedly being considered.
