In a social media update, Green revealed that she had lost consciousness due to brain bleeding but is currently recovering in the ICU. Despite the setback, Green expressed her determination to regain her title, stating, "I'll be back to claim what's mine." Green's promoter, Most Valuable Promotions, has been supporting her throughout her recovery, and the company has expressed gratitude to the New York State Athletic Commission, Madison Square Garden, and the hospital for their assistance.
