This victory marked White's 60th consecutive win, solidifying her unbeaten streak. 'I'm ecstatic. I believe I've proven many people wrong by winning this tournament in my first year as a senior. The leap from youth to senior level is significant, and I've demonstrated that I belong on the big stage, with hopes of soon competing for Great Britain,' White said in an interview with Sky Sports. White attributed her success to her unwavering dedication and unrelenting passion for the sport. 'My secret to success lies in my unshakeable desire to win. I train more rigorously than anyone else, and my will to be the best surpasses that of my peers,' she added. In the men's flyweight category, Billy Macey emerged as a two-time national champion after his opponent, Yusuf Uddin, was disqualified and subsequently shoved the referee. Macey emphasized the importance of maintaining a sportsmanlike demeanor, regardless of the outcome. 'Win or lose, it's essential to hold your head high, keep your back straight, and conduct yourself in a respectful manner. There's no need for unsportsmanlike behavior,' Macey stated. He also expressed his pride in following in the footsteps of legendary fighters who have achieved greatness in the sport. Adekali Kargbo of De Hood impressed the crowd with his 4-1 split decision victory over reigning 90kg champion Akinola Tijani. Clinton Achusim of Longsight secured the super-heavyweight title in a thrilling bout against Finchley's Anthony Ibekwe. 'I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. This is what we've been training for,' Achusim said. Amo Singh of Repton and GB boxer Joe Turner also emerged victorious in their respective categories. Turner expressed his confidence in his abilities, stating, 'I knew no one could take the belt away from me tonight. I'm made for moments like these, and I have no doubt that I'll become a world champion in the professional arena.' The GB squad is set to compete in the inaugural World Boxing Cup event in Brazil, featuring a talented lineup of boxers, including Sacha Hickey, Lauren Mackie, and Chantelle Reid in the women's division, and Ellis Trowbridge, Will Hewitt, and Teagn Stott in the men's division.
