England's rugby sensation Ellie Kildunne has bravely shared her personal battle with body dysmorphia, which began during the 2020 coronavirus lockdown. Kildunne, a key player in England's Rugby World Cup victory, scored five tries, including a stunning solo effort in the 33-13 win over Canada in the final. However, she revealed that after the high of the World Cup, she felt isolated and developed an unhealthy relationship with food, leading to an eating disorder. Kildunne, who has recently released her autobiography 'Game Changer', explained that she would see herself as bigger in the mirror, despite being considered small in the rugby world.

A turning point came when lead physiotherapist Emily Ross asked if Kildunne was okay during a physio session, prompting Kildunne to open up about her struggles. With Emily's support, Kildunne began to address her issues and now feels in control. She hopes to use her platform to help others who may be struggling with similar problems, showing that even successful athletes like herself can face challenges and that nobody is perfect.
