Karren Brady to Leave West Ham After 16 Years

Karren Brady, West Ham United's deputy-chair, has revealed her decision to step down from her position and leave the club after 16 years of service. Brady will be departing to focus on her other business ventures and her role in the House of Lords. During her tenure, the club successfully relocated from Upton Park to the London Stadium, which was originally constructed for the 2012 Olympic Games. This move marks the end of Brady's nearly 40-year professional partnership with David Sullivan, which began in 1993 when Sullivan appointed her at Birmingham City. In a statement, Brady expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work with the club's board, management, players, staff, and supporters, highlighting the achievement of lifting the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy as a personal highlight. Sullivan praised Brady as an exceptional leader who played a crucial role in the club's development, wishing her success in her future endeavors and thanking her for her outstanding contributions over the past 16 years.
