Caluori Scores Five Tries as Saracens Thrash Sale in Record-Breaking Win

Noah Caluori achieved a remarkable feat, scoring five tries as Saracens demolished Sale 85-19, securing their largest ever Premiership win. This impressive performance came after Caluori's five-try haul in his first Premiership start against Sale last October. Saracens dominated the first half, scoring six unanswered tries to lead 38-0 at the break, exposing Sale's defensive vulnerabilities. The visitors' tries came courtesy of Rotimi Segun, Caluori, Tom Willis, Rhys Carre, Fergus Burke, and Caluori again. Sale's Tom O'Flaherty scored two second-half tries, but Saracens responded with seven more, including three from Caluori, and tries from Charlie Bracken, Nathan Michelow, Max Malins, and Ben Earl. This bonus-point win brings Saracens within nine points of fourth-placed Exeter, while Sale suffered their 10th defeat in 13 league games, leaving them in seventh place. The Sharks' disappointing season continued with a 43-13 Champions Cup quarter-final defeat at Leinster last Saturday, putting them on course for a bottom-half finish in the Premiership.
