Usyk Trains Joshua to Overcome Fury: 'AJ Will Emerge Victorious'

Oleksandr Usyk is guiding Anthony Joshua in his preparations to defeat Tyson Fury. Joshua, a former world champion who lost to Usyk on two occasions, has joined Usyk's training camp. Usyk has expressed his enthusiasm for having Joshua on board, stating, 'We support each other, work together, and have a great time. We've transitioned from being rivals to friends.' As a two-weight, three-time undisputed world champion who has beaten Fury twice, Usyk is well-positioned to advise Joshua on how to tackle Fury. 'I believe AJ will succeed in beating my friend Fury,' Usyk said. Negotiations for a potential fight between Joshua and Fury are progressing, according to Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn. Usyk might even be in Joshua's corner for the fight. Hearn noted that training with Usyk has already had a significant impact on Joshua, saying, 'The setup is incredible, and being around the best fighter in the sport is inspiring.' Usyk is currently preparing for his own fight against Rico Verhoeven on May 23 and is focused solely on that bout, stating, 'For me, it's just another fight. I'm a master boxer.'
