Gilley Ready for Fresh Start, Rules Out Greene Rematch

Sam Gilley is set to put a disappointing year behind him as he prepares to face Aston Brown in a middleweight bout in Glasgow. Following a draw with Gideon Onyenani and a narrow loss to Ishmael Davis, Gilley is determined to bounce back. "I believe I won both fights, but it was just a tough year that taught me valuable lessons," Gilley said in an interview with Sky Sports. He expressed his desire to win the British title, saying, "If I get another chance, I'd be grateful." However, Gilley has ruled out a rematch with Louis Greene, citing the way their previously planned bouts fell through. "I'll fight anyone in the world, but I won't give Louis Greene another opportunity," Gilley stated. He is now focused on his upcoming fight with Brown, a former international amateur with impressive punching power. Gilley is confident in his abilities, saying, "I was built for the tough fights in the pros, let's see if he is."
