Robson Warns Draper Against Entering French Open Underprepared

According to Sky Sports Tennis analyst Laura Robson, Jack Draper must avoid entering the French Open without sufficient preparation due to his recent knee injury. Draper, the British No 2, withdrew from upcoming ATP events in Madrid and Rome after retiring from the Barcelona Open with a knee issue. Despite this setback, Draper aims to participate in the French Open, targeting events in Hamburg or Geneva for much-needed practice beforehand. Robson emphasized that Draper should not rush into the Grand Slam without proper preparation, as this could lead to him being 'undercooked' and ill-prepared for the demands of a best-of-five match. Meanwhile, fellow Brit Emma Raducanu also withdrew from the Madrid Open as she continues her recovery from post-viral symptoms. Raducanu has been out of action since her defeat in the third round at Indian Wells on March 8 and is currently back in training, hoping to play in Rome in early May.
