The International Cricket Council has confirmed a significant increase in the total prize money for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup 2026, set to take place in England and Wales. The winning team will receive $2.34 million, while the runners-up will take home $1.17 million. Notably, all participating teams are guaranteed a minimum of $247,500, more than double the amount from 2024.
The tournament, which kicks off in 60 days, will feature 12 teams competing in 33 matches across 24 days. The total prize pot for the tournament has grown to $8,765 million, with the winners and runners-up prize money remaining the same as in 2024.
