Up to 10 English Teams May Compete in Europe Next Season, with Six Possible in Champions League

A more plausible scenario is if an English team wins the Europa League, with Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest set to meet in the semi-finals. If Villa wins the competition but finishes outside the top four, the Premier League could have six teams in the Champions League. Alternatively, if Forest wins the Europa League, they would become the sixth English team in the Champions League. The winner of the Conference League would also earn a spot in the Europa League. With Crystal Palace favored to win the Conference League, they could become the ninth English team in Europe next season. In the most optimistic scenario, if Forest and Palace win their respective competitions, and another English team wins the Champions League, there could be 10 English teams competing in Europe, with six in the Champions League, three in the Europa League, and one in the Conference League.
