Canadian boxer Ryan Rozicki, known for his formidable punching power, has inked a multi-fight contract with Zuffa Boxing. Nicknamed 'The Bruiser', Rozicki is the newest addition to the company's impressive cruiserweight lineup, which already features champion Jai Opetaia, former titleholder Chris Billam-Smith, and top contender Brandon Glanton. With 21 professional wins under his belt, all but one of which were achieved by knockout, Rozicki has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the boxing world. His only loss came at the hands of Oscar Rivas in 2021, but he has since remained undefeated in nine consecutive fights, often competing in front of sold-out crowds in Nova Scotia.
Rozicki has also vied for the WBC interim title, drawing with Yamil Alberto Peralta in their 2024 rematch. One of his notable victories includes a win over Olanrewaju Durodola, who had previously gone the distance with notable boxers Richard Riakporhe and Ilunga Makabu.
Rozicki's most recent bout took place in March, where he secured a second-round knockout against Gerardo Mellado. 'I'm thrilled to embark on this new chapter and be a part of what Zuffa is building,' Rozicki stated. 'My team has done a fantastic job in getting me to this point, and I'm eager to capitalize on this opportunity and make a lasting impact.' The details of Rozicki's Zuffa Boxing debut are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
