Elena Rybakina booked her place in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix final after defeating 18-year-old Mirra Andreeva 7-5, 6-1 in Stuttgart on Saturday. Rybakina, the 2026 Australian Open champion, will now face off against Karolina Muchova in Sunday's final, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Tennis starting at midday.
The match was closely contested, with both players exchanging breaks in the first set before Rybakina's experience gave her the edge, allowing her to take a 1-0 lead. Rybakina then dominated the second set, winning the first five games to secure a composed victory. 'It feels amazing, I'm extremely happy,' Rybakina said. 'I missed this tournament last year, so I'm thrilled to be in the final.' Despite having a late night on Friday, following her quarter-final match against Leylah Fernandez which lasted over three hours, Rybakina was pleased with her performance.
'I'm really happy with how I played after a three-hour match yesterday,' she said. Earlier in the day, Flavio Cobolli reached the ATP 500 Munich final after defeating world No. 3 Alexander Zverev 6-3, 6-3.
Cobolli, who fired 32 winners and lost just eight points on his first serve, will face Ben Shelton in Sunday's final, live on Sky Sports Tennis from 2 pm. 'It was one of my best matches ever, against one of my closest friends on the Tour,' Cobolli said.
'He's a great guy, and we have a good relationship with his team, so it was tough to play against him. But today, I think I played one of my best matches, and I'm really happy with my performance.' Cobolli's victory makes him the third player this season to reach ATP Tour finals on both clay and hard courts, joining Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
He also moves up to 12th in the live ATP rankings as he pursues his fourth ATP Tour title and third at ATP 500 level.
