"We still have a long way to go and a tough task ahead of us." Nuno Espirito Santo remains cautious despite West Ham's recent turnaround. Despite being 2-0 down, they fought back to take the game to extra-time and eventually penalties. "We showed that we don't give up, and we can't afford to," Nuno said.
"Not just in words, but in our actions, in front of our fans. We can never give up." Captain Jarrod Bowen sets the tone for the team.
After hitting the woodwork twice and having his penalty saved in the cup tie, he responded with two assists in the 4-0 win over Wolves. "He's been fantastic, a true leader," Nuno praised. "He leads by example, and his teammates trust him. He's taken on the responsibility of being club captain, and it means a lot to him." Bowen will lead a rejuvenated West Ham team into their Monday night match against Crystal Palace, ready to face the challenges ahead and seize the opportunity they've created - together.
