Norris Unveils McLaren's Strategy to Reclaim Title

Lando Norris is confident that McLaren can still mount a strong title defense despite a sluggish start to the F1 season. The reigning champion believes the team can "push hard" to close the gap with Mercedes and Ferrari. Norris trails early championship leader Kimi Antonelli by 47 points but remains optimistic about the team's chances. He emphasized that McLaren's focus is on the current season, rather than giving up and focusing on next year. The team has been working to address reliability issues and is using the break to learn more about their car and power unit. Norris' teammate Oscar Piastri also expressed confidence in the team's ability to turn things around and get back into regular victory contention. Piastri stated that the team has a lot of work to do but is capable of closing the gap to Mercedes and out-developing the field. The F1 season resumes with the Miami Grand Prix on May 1-3, live on Sky Sports F1.
