Leeds Rhinos Thrash Huddersfield Giants as Croft Scores Four Tries

Huddersfield had entered the match on a high note, having secured wins against Wigan Warriors and York Knights following the dismissal of their head coach, Luke Robinson. Croft opened the scoring for Leeds, followed by Jarrod O'Connor, who showcased his game intelligence to put his side ahead. A well-crafted pass from James McDonnell then enabled Jack Bird to score, setting the stage for a monumental moment. Ryan Hall, the Super League's top try scorer, achieved a milestone by scoring his 250th try for Leeds, demonstrating his strength from close range. Despite the strong attacking display, Leeds Rhinos head coach Brad Arthur expressed concerns about his team's defensive performance, stating that it lacked 'urgency and desperation' and was 'not good enough.' Arthur emphasized the need for his team to prioritize defense, saying, 'We need to care a bit more about our defense. It's not good enough. The boys were a bit flat in the sheds on the back of that defensive performance. For the majority, it was good, but we just lacked a bit of concentration and went to sleep at times.' He stressed the importance of being more resilient on the try line and exhibiting more urgency and desperation in defense.
