Justin Rose expressed disappointment at letting a chance slip away as he once again fell short of Masters glory at Augusta National. Having led by two shots at one stage in the final round, Rose's bid for the title was derailed by consecutive bogeys at the 11th and 12th holes, followed by a costly three-putt par at the 13th.
Despite a strong start, Rose ultimately finished in a four-way tie for third place on 10 under, two strokes behind the leader. Rose cited the par at the 13th as the turning point, stating that a birdie there could have shifted momentum back in his favor.
Meanwhile, Scottie Scheffler secured second place with a bogey-free 68, while Tyrrell Hatton made a remarkable surge up the leaderboard with a six-under 66 to claim a share of third place. Hatton's impressive run was motivated by the prospect of returning to the Masters with his newborn daughter next year.
