Maguire admitted to the offense and was fined £30,000. The FA's written statement revealed that Donohue claimed Maguire used insulting language as he left the field, although Maguire claimed he did not insult the official directly. Maguire's absence, combined with the suspension of Lisandro Martinez, leaves Manchester United with limited center-back options.
