Baumgardner Sets Sights on Taylor, Serrano, and Mayer: 'I Want Them All'
Unified super-featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner is chasing the most high-profile fights in the sport, with Katie Taylor, Amanda Serrano, and Mikaela Mayer at the top of her list. 'Those are three fantastic fights, and I want to make them all happen,' Baumgardner stated. The American boxer considers these fights a higher priority than a potential matchup against Britain's unified lightweight world champion Caroline Dubois. 'I'm focused on the biggest and best fights, and Dubois isn't ready yet,' Baumgardner said. Before pursuing these marquee fights, Baumgardner must first defend her WBA, WBO, and IBF super-featherweight titles against Bo Mi Re Shin at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York. 'Bo Mi Re Shin is a warrior, but I'm hungrier and sharper,' Baumgardner said. Shin, however, is determined to derail Baumgardner's plans and claim the titles for herself. 'Alycia has always been my goal, and now it's time to take her belts,' Shin said. The highly anticipated fight between Baumgardner and Shin will be broadcast live on Sky Sports from 3am on Saturday morning.
