Canadian Cruiserweight Rozicki Joins Zuffa Boxing Roster

Canadian boxer Ryan Rozicki, known for his powerful punches, has signed a multi-fight contract with Zuffa Boxing. Rozicki, nicknamed 'The Bruiser', joins the company's impressive cruiserweight lineup, which already features champion Jai Opetaia, former world champion Chris Billam-Smith, and top contender Brandon Glanton. With 21 professional wins, all but one by knockout, Rozicki has established himself as a formidable force in the boxing world. His only loss came in 2021 against Oscar Rivas, a seasoned heavyweight contender who has only been beaten by Dillian Whyte. Since then, Rozicki has remained unbeaten in nine consecutive fights, often performing in front of sold-out crowds in Nova Scotia. In 2024, he fought for the WBC interim title, drawing with Yamil Alberto Peralta in their rematch. Rozicki's notable victories include a win over Olanrewaju Durodola, who had previously gone the distance with notable boxers Richard Riakporhe and Ilunga Makabu. In his most recent bout, Rozicki secured a second-round knockout against Gerardo Mellado. 'I'm thrilled to start this new chapter and be part of Zuffa's vision,' Rozicki stated. 'My team has worked tirelessly to get me to this point, and I'm confident that I have the support needed to succeed at the highest level. This is a massive platform, and I'm eager to make a statement.' The details of Rozicki's Zuffa Boxing debut are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
