He secured a win on his debut last September, sharing a Ferrari 296 GT3 car with Britain's Chris Lulham. Verstappen and his teammates, driving the Mercedes, finished first again on his return to NLS action last month but were later disqualified due to exceeding the permitted tyre allocation.
