Nicky Richards Seeks to Extend Winning Streak at Hexham

Following an impressive eight consecutive victories, Nicky Richards is set to send three horses to Hexham for the National Hunt action on Monday. Jamesieconn, part of the in-form Richards team, will be competing in the Mick Walsh Open Ditch Handicap Chase, chasing his fourth consecutive win. Having shown a preference for the three-mile distance and good ground when winning at Carlisle, Jamesieconn has been raised 5lbs to a mark of 100, which may prove to be a challenge. Streamsforth Lad, despite placing in various hurdle and chase events, is yet to secure a win but has shown improvement and may still pose a threat. Meanwhile, Stuart Coltherd's Rightbackatyou will be competing after a recent impressive performance over the same course and distance. Young Getaway will make his chasing debut in the Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase, attempting to continue Richards' remarkable winning streak. Other notable competitors include That One, making his debut over fences, and the Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore-trained Heads Or Harps and Choose A Copper. The Paul Midgley-trained Grant Wood returns to his successful track, while Wicket Keeper and Paddy's Day also join the lineup, with Albasheer and Gardener completing the field.
