Fitzpatrick Takes the Lead After Round Two of the RBC Heritage
Matt Fitzpatrick has taken the top spot on the leaderboard after the second round of the RBC Heritage, carding an impressive eight-under-par 63. His round was marked by eight birdies, including a notable 36-foot putt on the 15th hole, all without a single bogey at Hilton Head. Following an opening round of 65, which had him tied for third, Fitzpatrick now leads with a total score of 14 under par. Viktor Hovland of Norway trails closely behind, one stroke back, after achieving a second-round score of 65. Meanwhile, overnight leader Ludvig Aberg slipped to a joint-fourth position due to three bogeys on the back nine. Robert MacIntyre of Scotland is six shots behind Fitzpatrick after a round of 68, and world number one Scottie Scheffler is seven shots off the lead with a score of 67.
