McIlroy and Norris Shine at Laureus World Sport Awards
Golf superstar Rory McIlroy and Formula One champion Lando Norris took center stage on a star-studded night at the Laureus World Sport Awards. McIlroy, who completed a career Grand Slam in 2025, was honored with the Laureus World Comeback of the Year Award. Meanwhile, Norris was crowned the Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year after winning his maiden Formula One drivers' championship title. Other notable winners included Carlos Alcaraz, who was named Laureus World Sportsman of the Year, and Aryna Sabalenka, who received the Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year Award.
