She's definitely hungry, but I'm not avoiding her. I'm focused on the most significant fights possible, and our bout will happen when the time is right," Baumgardner explained. Before pursuing these marquee fights, Baumgardner must first defend her WBA, WBO, and IBF super-featherweight titles against Bo Mi Re Shin at New York's Madison Square Garden Theater, live on Sky Sports.
"Bo Mi Re Shin is a warrior, just like I know she is. However, I'm hungrier and sharper," Baumgardner said. Baumgardner aims to showcase her aggressive side in the upcoming fight. "I know I can go the distance, so now I want to unleash my meaner and more aggressive side.
That's what I'm working towards for fight night," she added. Shin, however, plans to ruin Baumgardner's plans. Her sole focus is on claiming the champion's belts. "Alycia has always been my target.
Now it's time for me to take her titles," Shin said. "I have immense respect for Baumgardner's boxing style and strength, but I believe I have more perseverance, and I'll prove it."
