This marks Verstappen's fourth outing in GT3 machinery in the NLS. He previously won on his debut last September, sharing a Ferrari 296 GT3 car with Britain's Chris Lulham, and although he and his teammates finished first in their return to NLS action last month in a Mercedes, they were subsequently disqualified due to exceeding the permitted tyre allocation.
