Following his impressive debut in ONE Championship, British fighter Ben Woolliss is scheduled to return to the ring on May 16, with the event broadcast live on Sky Sports. Woolliss will face off against Petchtanong Petchfergus in a bantamweight kickboxing match at the Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand.

This will be a challenging bout for Woolliss, as Petchfergus is a former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion. Despite overcoming long-term health issues, Woolliss has made a strong start to his career with ONE, having signed with the promotion recently and making his debut last month on short notice against former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker.

Woolliss secured a remarkable one-round stoppage victory over Lineker, utilizing damaging low kicks to take down his opponent. The main event of the May 16 card will feature Chinese fighter Tang Kai, who will be defending his ONE featherweight MMA world title against Shamil Gasanov.

Gasanov boasts an impressive record, with a strong stand-up game, grappling skills, and expertise in submissions, making him a formidable opponent for Kai.
