Following his remarkable debut in ONE Championship, Britain's Ben Woolliss is scheduled to compete again on May 16, broadcast live on Sky Sports. Woolliss will face off against Petchtanong Petchfergus in a bantamweight kickboxing match at the Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand, which will air on Sky Sports in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 16. This bout will see Woolliss go up against a former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion, Petchfergus, as part of ONE Fight Night 43. Having overcome long-term health issues, Woolliss, hailing from Grimsby, recently signed with ONE and made his promotional debut just last month.

On short notice of nine days, he accepted his first assignment, taking on former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker in a featherweight kickboxing clash. Despite Lineker's reputation for powerful punching, Woolliss secured a spectacular one-round stoppage victory, defeating 'Hands of Stone' with severely damaging low kicks. The main event of May 16 will feature Chinese star Tang Kai as he defends his ONE featherweight MMA world title for the second time against Shamil 'The Cobra' Gasanov. Tang Kai has dominated every featherweight MMA opponent in his path, while Gasanov boasts a near-flawless record, utilizing his formidable stand-up skills, grappling, and submission expertise to outmaneuver competitors.

After avenging his only career loss, 'The Cobra' is now poised to strike and may prove unbeatable.
