Trained by John Gosden in partnership with his son Thady, Oxagon has now become a strong contender for the Guineas. Gosden expressed his high opinion of the horse, stating that the addition of cheekpieces has focused Oxagon's mind, and with his odds cut to 25-1, connections are eager to take a chance in the Guineas.

Additionally, Portcullis, a son of Frankel, made a spectacular debut, winning the Betway Wood Ditton Maiden by an impressive five and a half lengths, sparking excitement among his connections, including the King and Queen's racing manager John Warren, who believes the colt has a bright future ahead.
