When questioned about his discussions with Gordon regarding the transfer speculation, Eddie Howe stated that he engages in regular conversations with players, but only addresses transfer rumors when necessary. Howe emphasized the importance of player commitment, indicating that he will not play anyone who is not fully dedicated to the club. Newcastle holds a strong negotiating position with regard to Tonali and Gordon, given their contract situations.
