Bryson DeChambeau Withdraws from LIV Golf Mexico City Due to Wrist Injury

Bryson DeChambeau has pulled out of the LIV Golf Mexico City tournament ahead of the final round, citing a wrist injury. The two-time LIV Golf winner this season was 16 strokes behind leader Jon Rahm after posting a two-over 73 on Saturday. DeChambeau stated, "I felt some discomfort in my wrist during yesterday's round, so I've decided to withdraw from the final round to avoid further injury. It's not how I wanted this week to go, but I'm wishing the Crushers a strong finish." He plans to get evaluated and hopes to be ready for LIV Golf Virginia. DeChambeau's withdrawal comes amidst uncertainty surrounding the LIV Golf League's future, following reports that the Saudi Public Investment Fund may end its financial support. LIV chief executive Scott O'Neil has stated that the league is funded through the season and will work to secure its future beyond that.
