LIVE STREAM: Verstappen Takes on the Nurburgring on Sunday

For a more accessible viewing experience, please use the Chrome browser. Tune in on Sunday at 11:30am as Max Verstappen returns to the Nordschleife, continuing his preparations for the Nurburgring 24 Hours in May. This weekend features a double-header of races in the German track's endurance series. A minute of silence will be observed before the start of Sunday's second four-hour race, following the passing of driver Juha Miettinen, who died after a multi-car crash on Saturday. Verstappen paid tribute to the 66-year-old driver. With the F1 season on hold in April due to the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, Verstappen has added the NLS4 and NLS5 races to his expanding GT3 schedule. Teaming up with seasoned endurance driver Lucas Auer, nephew of former F1 driver Gerhard Berger, Verstappen will drive the Red Bull-livered Mercedes-AMG GT3 car for Verstappen Racing. They will compete in a 37-strong GT3 field at the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie. The live stream begins on Sunday at 11:30am, with the race starting at 12pm UK time. Formula 1 returns on May 1-3 with the Miami Grand Prix, featuring the season's second Sprint weekend, live on Sky Sports F1. You can stream Sky Sports with NOW, with no contract and the option to cancel at any time. This marks Verstappen's fourth time racing in GT3 machinery in the NLS. He previously won on his debut last September in a Ferrari 296 GT3 car, sharing the victory with Britain's Chris Lulham. Verstappen and his teammates, driving the Mercedes, finished first again last month but were later disqualified due to exceeding the permitted tyre allocation.
