Bournemouth Reaches Agreement to Appoint Marco Rose as New Manager

Bournemouth has finalized an agreement to appoint Marco Rose as the new manager, succeeding Andoni Iraola at the Vitality Stadium. Although Rose will not officially take over until summer, the deal allows both the incoming manager and the club to prepare for next season. Iraola announced his departure on Tuesday, marking the end of his three-year tenure as head coach. Following Iraola's confirmation, Sky Sports News reported that Rose, the former RB Leipzig manager, was the top candidate to replace him due to their shared football philosophy. The 46-year-old has been out of management since his dismissal from RB Leipzig in March 2025. Rose's appointment is expected to bring a new era to the club, with his playing style emphasizing 'emotion, hunger, and being active.' The club is working on completing the necessary paperwork and arranging his work visa. The composition of his backroom staff is currently under discussion.
