Man City's Jeremy Doku Claims Title Race Is On Ahead of Arsenal Clash

Manchester City's Jeremy Doku has sent a warning to Premier League leaders Arsenal, stating that the title race is now officially underway. This comes after City's impressive 3-0 victory over Chelsea, which has moved them six points behind Arsenal with a game in hand. Doku, who scored his first goal since November, expressed his confidence in City's chances, emphasizing that their destiny is now in their own hands. He noted that the Premier League is highly unpredictable, referencing Arsenal's recent loss to Bournemouth. City manager Pep Guardiola also shared his thoughts, recalling how his team was considered an underdog before the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal last month. Since then, City has gone on to secure the first silverware of the season, beating Arsenal 2-0, and has also thrashed Liverpool 4-0 in the FA Cup. Guardiola acknowledged the respect he has for Arsenal but emphasized that his team is growing and more fresh after being eliminated from the Champions League.
