Canadian boxer Ryan Rozicki, known for his formidable punching power, has inked a multi-fight contract with Zuffa Boxing, bolstering their cruiserweight division. Rozicki, nicknamed 'The Bruiser', joins an impressive lineup that includes champion Jai Opetaia, former titleholder Chris Billam-Smith, and top contender Brandon Glanton. With 21 professional wins, all but one by knockout, Rozicki has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the cruiserweight category.
His only loss was to heavyweight contender Oscar Rivas in 2021, and he has since remained unbeaten in nine consecutive fights, often performing in front of sold-out crowds in his native Nova Scotia. Rozicki has also vied for a WBC interim title, drawing with Yamil Alberto Peralta in their 2024 rematch. He achieved a notable victory over Olanrewaju Durodola, who had previously gone the distance with Richard Riakporhe and Ilunga Makabu in a world title bout. Rozicki's most recent fight was in March, where he secured a second-round knockout against Gerardo Mellado.
