Tuesday's racing on Sky Sports Racing is headlined by the Group Three Prix Sigy, where Karl Burke's Soul Love will be competing in the sprint contest at Chantilly. This renewal of the Prix Sigy appears to be highly competitive, with Argentine Tango and Soul Love leading the British charge. Following his win in France on Sunday, Karl Burke will be saddling the undefeated Soul Love, ridden by Sam James. As a daughter of Starman, Soul Love has shown promise in her all-weather victories but will need to improve further to be competitive at this level.
She deserves the opportunity to compete at this higher level and could potentially be above average. Francis-Henri Graffard's Moojeed, who previously won at Group Three level as a two-year-old, will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing performance behind Green Sense in the Prix Robert Papin under Mickael Brzalona. Argentine Tango showed excellent form as a two-year-old, including a Listed contest win at Newmarket, and her connections report that she is in fine form.
Joseph O'Brien's Yaupon De Replay and Kimi Rey are also contenders. The Download The At The Races App Restricted Maiden Fillies' Stakes at Lingfield features a five-runner field, including Lara Antipova and Lahan Kingman, who are seeking their first wins. Lara Antipova, trained by Tom Clover, performed well on her debut at Wetherby and then finished second at Wolverhampton, clearing the third-placed finisher. She is expected to perform well in this similar heat.
Lahan Kingman finished third to Guineas hopeful Touleen on her first start at Newbury and then ran creditably when second at Wolverhampton. Sent off as the 4-5 favorite on that occasion, she is expected to improve upon that effort, having shown signs of inexperience.
Andrew Balding's Leonie is another contender, while Cosmic debuts for Richard Hannon and Stolen completes the field. For fans of jump racing, Newton Abbot hosts a six-race card, featuring the Visit Kauto The King 6th May Handicap Chase.
Recent winners Soldierofthestorm and Tapley are the headliners, with Jonjo O'Neill Jr's Soldierofthestorm seeking to build upon his win over fences at Sandown last month. Having jumped superbly on that occasion, he is the one to beat under this 5lb higher mark. Tapley looks to be the main threat for the Suzy Smith team, having followed up a couple of placed efforts with a second fencing success at Stratford.
Sheldon is also worth considering after his solid second-place finish at Newbury, although he has not won in over two years.
