World-class tennis player Carlos Alcaraz has been forced to withdraw from the Barcelona Open due to a severe right wrist injury. Alcaraz initially won his opening match against Otto Virtanen but experienced wrist pain and underwent medical treatment. Following a test on his wrist, he decided to pull out of the tournament. In a press conference, Alcaraz stated, 'The truth is that it's strange and difficult to sit here for the second time... I have to listen to my body and prioritize my health.' He aims to recover as quickly as possible with the help of his team and medical professionals.
