Canadian boxer Ryan Rozicki, nicknamed 'The Bruiser', has inked a multi-fight contract with Zuffa Boxing, bolstering their cruiserweight division. Rozicki boasts an impressive record of 21 wins, with all but one of his victories coming by way of knockout. His only loss was to Oscar Rivas in 2021. Since then, Rozicki has remained unbeaten in nine consecutive fights, often competing in front of packed crowds in Nova Scotia.
In 2024, he fought to a draw against Yamil Alberto Peralta for the WBC interim title. Rozicki's notable wins include a knockout victory over Olanrewaju Durodola, who had previously gone the distance with prominent boxers Richard Riakporhe and Ilunga Makabu. His most recent fight took place in March, where he defeated Gerardo Mellado with a second-round knockout. 'I'm thrilled to start this new chapter and be a part of Zuffa's vision,' Rozicki stated.
