Hollie Doyle: Zavateri is the one to beat in the Greenham Stakes

This Saturday promises to be an exciting day of racing, with several top-class events taking place. I have a busy schedule ahead, with multiple rides at Thirsk and Newbury. My first ride of the day is on the two-year-old Niewiadoma, who makes her debut in the British EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes. I have been impressed with her natural speed and lovely attitude during our training sessions. Although it's difficult to predict the outcome, given that all the fillies are making their debut, I am optimistic about her chances. Later in the day, I will be riding Merlier in the Stirrup Bar For Deli-Style Dinning Packages Handicap. He has shown progress on the All-Weather and I am looking forward to seeing how he performs on turf. Stepping into a handicap for the first time will be a new challenge for him, but I am confident that he can hold his own against the more experienced sprinters. I am also looking forward to riding Warm Spell in the Join Racing TV Today Handicap. Now that he has been eased to a career-low mark, I expect him to go close. He has run some nice races in defeat and is entitled to be in the mix for this seasonal debut. I will be riding Idyllic in the Happy 21st Birthday Lily Watkinson Handicap, a mare who won at the track last summer and should enjoy similar conditions. I am also set to ride Solar Biricz in the Nick Simpson Cannot Be 60 Handicap, a gelding who won a 5f handicap at Doncaster last summer and is stepping up to six furlongs for the first time. One of the most highly anticipated events of the day is the Watership Down Stud Too Darn Hot Greenham Stakes at Newbury, where Zavateri will be facing off against Albert Einstein. Zavateri sets the standard after a glittering juvenile campaign, and I am hoping that he can keep his Classic dreams alive. The Group 3 Dubai Duty Free Stakes, also known as the Fred Darling, looks like an open renewal, with several fillies holding similar prospects. I am convinced that Touleen is better than she showed in the Rockfel last autumn, but she will need to be at her best to win this traditional Classic trial. The Win Unique Experiences At OLBG Prizes Spring Cup Handicap at Newbury is another exciting event, with Urban Lion looking to supplement his win in the Lincoln. I expect him to go well, and I also think that Simon and Ed Crisford's Shout will fare better than he did at Doncaster. Finally, I am hoping to see Al Aasy win the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Stakes for Tom Marquand and William Haggas. He loves this track and can keep Karl Burke's likely favourite Convergent on his toes.
