MVP Set to Provide Opponent for Katie Taylor's Final Bout at Croke Park
Katie Taylor, an Olympic gold medalist and two-weight undisputed champion, is preparing for her final career fight at Croke Park in Dublin, and Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) is likely to provide her opponent. MVP has staged Taylor's last two contests in her epic trilogy with Amanda Serrano and boasts the strongest roster in women's boxing, making them a suitable partner for Taylor's swansong. Nakisa Bidarian, MVP's co-founder, has suggested Caroline Dubois as a potential opponent for Taylor's farewell fight. Alternatively, the winner of the upcoming WBA lightweight title fight between Holly Holm and Stephanie Han could also be a viable option. Bidarian has expressed his willingness to collaborate with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing, which represents Taylor, to stage the Croke Park event. Hearn has ruled out Taylor boxing on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, which has also been proposed for Croke Park, and is instead focused on organizing Taylor's final bout.
