Bournemouth have finalized a deal to appoint Marco Rose as the new manager, replacing Andoni Iraola. Although Rose will not officially take over until the summer, the agreement allows both the club and the new manager to prepare for the upcoming season.
Iraola had announced his departure from the club after his contract expires at the end of the season, marking the end of his three-year tenure as head coach. Rose, the former RB Leipzig manager, was the top choice to succeed Iraola due to his similar footballing philosophy. The club is currently working on completing Rose's paperwork and work visa, as well as discussing the composition of his backroom staff.
Rose has been out of management since his departure from RB Leipzig in March 2025. With his experience in winning silverware and competing in the Champions League, Rose is well-suited to help Bournemouth achieve their goal of pursuing trophies and European competition.
