LIVE STREAM: Verstappen Takes on the Nurburgring on Sunday

For an enhanced viewing experience, we recommend using the Chrome browser. Tune in on Sunday at 11:30am as Max Verstappen heads back to the Nordschleife, gearing up for the Nurburgring 24 Hours in May with a double-header weekend of endurance series races at the German track. A minute of silence will be observed before the start of Sunday's second four-hour race, following the tragic passing of driver Juha Miettinen in a multi-car incident that led to the suspension of Saturday's race. Verstappen paid tribute to the 66-year-old driver. With the F1 schedule disrupted in April due to the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, Verstappen has added the NLS4 and NLS5 races to his expanding GT3 calendar. He is teamed up with seasoned endurance driver Lucas Auer, nephew of former F1 driver Gerhard Berger, in the Red Bull-liveried Mercedes-AMG GT3 car for Verstappen Racing, competing in a 37-strong GT3 field at the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie. Sunday's live stream commences at 11:30am, with the race starting at 12pm, all UK times. This marks Verstappen's fourth outing in GT3 machinery in the NLS, having previously won on his debut last September in a Ferrari 296 GT3 car shared with Britain's Chris Lulham. His return to NLS action last month saw him finish first with his teammates, driving the Mercedes, but they were later disqualified for exceeding the permitted tyre allocation. The Formula 1 season resumes on May 1-3 with the Miami Grand Prix, the second Sprint weekend of the season, live on Sky Sports F1, available to stream on NOW without a contract.
