Norris Unveils McLaren's Strategy to Reclaim the Title

Lando Norris remains optimistic about McLaren's chances of defending their world titles as the F1 season resumes with the Miami Grand Prix, despite a slow start. The reigning champion has not secured a podium finish in the first three races, but teammate Oscar Piastri's second-place finish in Japan has provided a glimmer of hope. With nearly five weeks to refine their cars, Norris believes the team can turn their fortunes around. "We can still have a good season, even if we're not where we want to be right now," he said, emphasizing that giving up is not an option. Norris and Piastri are confident that the team can push hard for the championship, citing past experiences where they overcame similar challenges. The team is focusing on resolving reliability issues and developing their car to be competitive. "We've been there, done it, learned from it, and I trust that this team knows how to do it again," Norris added. Piastri also expressed confidence in the team's ability to close the gap with Mercedes and secure regular victories. "This team has proven how we're able to turn things around, and we're starting in a stronger position than we have in previous examples," he said.
