This event is part of a double-header weekend in the German track's endurance series. A minute of silence will be observed before the start of Sunday's second four-hour race, following the tragic passing of driver Juha Miettinen after a multi-car accident on Saturday.
Verstappen was among those paying tribute to the 66-year-old. With the Formula 1 season on hold in April due to the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, Verstappen has added the NLS4 and NLS5 races to his expanding GT3 schedule. Teaming up with seasoned endurance driver Lucas Auer, nephew of former F1 driver Gerhard Berger, Verstappen will be driving the Red Bull-livered Mercedes-AMG GT3 car for Verstappen Racing.
They will be competing in a field of 37 GT3 cars at 'The Green Hell' in the latest rounds of the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie. Sunday's live stream begins at 11:30am, with the race starting at 12pm. All times are in UK time.

Verstappen previously won on his debut last September, driving a Ferrari 296 GT3 car alongside Britain's Chris Lulham. On his return to NLS action last month, he and his teammates, driving a Mercedes, secured a first-place finish but were later disqualified due to exceeding the allowed tyre allocation.
