Clayton Extends Premier League Lead with Rotterdam Victory

Jonny Clayton solidified his position at the top of the Premier League Darts standings with a 6-4 win over Luke Littler in the Night 11 final in Rotterdam. This marks Clayton's fourth nightly victory in the 2026 campaign, following his back-to-back successes in Brighton and Rotterdam, having also won in Glasgow and Nottingham. As a result, Clayton is now virtually guaranteed a spot at the Finals Night at The O2 in May, boasting a five-point lead at the top of the table with 29 points. Littler, with 24 points, sits in second place, followed by Gerwyn Price with 19 points and Michael van Gerwen with 16 points. Littler's journey to the final included silencing the Rotterdam crowd after they booed him during his walk-on, and he went on to defeat Price 6-3 in the quarter-finals. Clayton, however, demonstrated his ability to win under pressure, overcoming a 2-0 deficit to claim a 5-3 lead, eventually securing the win with a pin on D20. In the semi-finals, Clayton showed his resilience with a 6-5 win over Josh Rock, coming back from a break of throw to take the match. Earlier, Clayton had dominated Van Gerwen 6-2, ending the Dutchman's hopes of a home win. Littler started strong, defeating Price 6-3, and later held off a fightback from Luke Humphries to win 6-5 and book his spot in the final. The night also saw Humphries secure a 6-3 win over Van Veen, while Rock defeated Stephen Bunting 6-1.
