Double Injury Setback for England in Women's Six Nations
England's Women's Six Nations campaign has been dealt a significant blow with the loss of Morwenna Talling and Natasha Hunt due to injury. The pair sustained leg injuries during England's 33-12 victory over Ireland at Allianz Stadium on Saturday, with Talling being forced off after 43 minutes and Hunt lasting just 13 minutes after coming on as a substitute. This latest setback means that England will be without Talling, a lock, for the remainder of the tournament, while scrum-half Hunt will also play no further part. England head coach John Mitchell acknowledged the challenge posed by the loss of key players, saying: "We've lost four international locks, so by the end of the competition, we might be relying on our back-rowers. However, we'll adapt and make it work if that's what's required." Talling and Hunt will remain with the England squad to consult with specialists before beginning their rehabilitation at their respective clubs. The RFU has confirmed that Sydney Gregson and Haidee Head have been added to the squad ahead of England's next match against Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday.
