This is not the first time Semenyo has been a victim of racist abuse, having previously reported an incident during a match against Liverpool at the start of the season while playing for Bournemouth. A supporter, Mark Mogan, was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is set to stand trial on April 22. The Premier League has condemned the latest incident, stating that racism has no place in the sport or society and emphasizing its commitment to working with clubs, law enforcement, and social media companies to address the issue. The Football Association has also offered its support, echoing the Premier League's sentiments and vowing to ensure that those found guilty of discrimination face severe consequences.
