Canadian Cruiserweight Rozicki Joins Zuffa Boxing Roster

Canadian boxer Ryan Rozicki, known for his formidable punching power, has inked a multi-fight contract with Zuffa Boxing. The cruiserweight, nicknamed 'The Bruiser', bolsters the promotion's already impressive stable, which includes champion Jai Opetaia, former titleholder Chris Billam-Smith, and top contender Brandon Glanton. With 21 professional wins, all but one by knockout, Rozicki has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the cruiserweight division. His only loss came at the hands of Oscar Rivas in 2021, but he has since racked up nine consecutive wins, often fighting in front of packed crowds in Nova Scotia. Rozicki has also vied for the WBC interim title, drawing with Yamil Alberto Peralta in their 2024 rematch. His notable victories include a win over Olanrewaju Durodola, who had previously gone the distance with Richard Riakporhe and Ilunga Makabu. In his most recent bout, Rozicki scored a second-round knockout over Gerardo Mellado. 'I'm thrilled to embark on this new chapter and be part of Zuffa's vision,' Rozicki stated. 'My team has worked tirelessly to get me to this point, and I'm eager to capitalize on this opportunity and make a lasting impression.' Details of Rozicki's Zuffa Boxing debut are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
