McLaren's Title Ambitions Still Alive, Insists Norris
Lando Norris is confident that McLaren can mount a strong title defence despite a sluggish start to the season. The reigning champion believes the team can 'push hard' to bridge the gap with Mercedes and Ferrari. Norris trails early championship leader Kimi Antonelli by 47 points but remains optimistic about McLaren's chances. 'I think we can have a good season, even if we're not where we want to be right now,' Norris said. The team has been working on their cars during the April break and will resume the season at the Miami Grand Prix. Norris and teammate Oscar Piastri are focused on addressing reliability issues and developing their car to get back in contention for wins. Piastri expressed confidence in the team's ability to turn things around, citing their past experiences and the team's strength. 'We have a lot of work to do to be back at the front consistently, but closing the gap to Mercedes and out-developing the field is something that's within our control,' Piastri said.
