England's head coach, John Mitchell, remains optimistic despite a lengthy list of absent players, stating that the team will adapt to the challenges. Five changes have been made to the starting XV for the upcoming Guinness Women's Six Nations match against Scotland, including a debut for 19-year-old Demelza Short at blindside flanker. Other new additions include fly-half Zoe Harrison, full-back Emma Sing, lock Abi Burton, and prop Maud Muir, as England seeks to build on their 33-12 victory over Ireland.
